Answer these questions before blowing your money..

  1. Am I going because someone else thinks I should or am I investing in discovery and deepening of this area of study?

If you answered yes to the first. Do not waste your money and take time figuring out the life you want to live.

If you answered no to the first question, but yes to the second question, then please also consider this~

  1. Do I actually need a degree right this moment or can I pursue work in my industry without it?

Fun fact about me: I went to the University of Rhode Island (out of parent and peer pressure) and started off studying psychology but quickly switched to public relations, adding on communication studies, and graduated with 2 B.A.’s but essentially just studying communication theory and event management.

I took out a little over $100,000 in student loans.

Looking at it, I never needed to get a degree to work in special events, I decided to out of societal pressure, and that put me in a major financial mess 6 years after surviving a traumatic injury (NDE) while cheerleading at the school my sophomore year. Praise the lord I’m alive and here to warn you, don’t get yourself into unnecessary debt.

Have a wonderful rest of your day, I love you!
