Planning my outfit for this evening. I’m heading to the Wadsworth Art Gallery again (shocker) and love dressing to any occasion.

I’m your typical girly-girl, but incase you didn’t know, I lost all of my hair in the past year, which does NOT fit my fashion style. Not to mention I don’t want my poor head to be cold, but a headscarf or beanies isn’t always my first pick. If you have a solution hmu.

ANYWAY, so I’m in my parents kitchen, drinking coffee and scrolling Pinterest, planning my outfit for this evening. Thinking, “I don’t deserve to get dressed up because I don’t look like I used to.”

To even be able to acknowledge that was grounding, and I didn’t hesitate to rebuke that and ask myself, “what makes you any different from then to now aside from what you’ve learned?”

Just because I feel like and ugly duckling, and pretend I’m not embarrassed eyesore of a bald spot on my head, doesn’t mean I am or even should be ashamed into becoming bland. Not me, not I.

(Let me also fill you in that I love fashion as a form of artistic expression and use it as such, so walking the line between refusing ego while having an identity crisis over my physical image has been a challenge for me.)

Whatever, I’ll think of something cute and fun.

Stay tuned and thanks for reading xoxo
